Jerk Spare Ribs

 

           These ribs are seriously easy to whip up. Amazing for any party or when having mates around for a few beers. Just throw all of the ingredients onto them, let them marinate for as long as you want. Put them in the oven about an hour and half before you want to eat. Badda Bing Badda Boom! An awesome finger food snack.

2 racks of pork ribs

1 tbs of jerk seasoning

1 tbs fennel seeds

1 tbs cumin seeds

1 tbs paprika

2 tbs ketchup

2 tbs brown sauce

1 tbs soy sauce

1 tbs balsamic vinegar

1 tbs olive oil

-Lay your ribs out on in a large roasting dish.

-You can make up the marinade separately and then slather it over the ribs or just make it in the dish with the ribs and mix it as you rub it into the meat. Either way it is as simple as adding the rest of the ingredients together.

-Cover with tin foil and leave to sit for at least half an hour but ideally overnight. (Makes it easier on you to make them the day before)

-Preheat your oven to 160 degrees and place the dish in with the tin foil still on for 1.5 hours.

-Take the tin foil off and cook for a further half hour.

-Slice them up (cut next to the bone so they are easier to eat) and serve on a big board for everyone to tuck into.

-Soon you will be left with nothing more than this to show for your efforts…
